Shelley: Thanks for your input! It is my goal too, to do a mind dump during the weekly review.

I like this idea of mind dumping. I do something similar but in an old school way - in a week per page diary that sits open on my desk all the time.

I use a set of symbols that I created to show priority level and draw these next to the task (an asterix is like lowest priority). I like the new tech and apps but for some things I love good old pen and paper!

Dylan, I know exactly what you mean. I handled my tasks in a similar fashion for many years before I switched to this mind dumping method. I have lots (and I mean lots) of notebooks FULL of to do lists, project updates, etc. Once I started using this new method, I cut down tremendously on paper. :-) I do agree, however, that there are some things that good old pen and paper are best for.

Dylan: I am fan of both high and low tech tools! I always wear a pen on my belt and a small notebook in my back pocket.

I look forward to received the RocketBook, so I can do mental mind dumps and then re-use the notebook, by putting it in the microwave... ;)

Shelley: How often do you do "mind dumping"? Is it similar to a weekly review process?

I try to do a mind dump at least once a week. If I do it any less I find too many tasks pile up and I'm back to chaos again!
