To be an entrepreneur, you have to be navigate lots of unknowns, and the path is fraught with risk. Once you are past a certain mental age, you know too many of the things that can go wrong, so you never start. Sort of like the old saying that if we didn’t have young men to fight our wars, we could achieve world peace in no time.

My first reaction to this article was "there they go-bashing the 50+ crowd again". Then I realized how true it actually is. I was burned big time twice: lost a franchise biz and an online biz. We won't even discuss the dozens of other attempts. And as a 50 something, I am very fearful to try again. As much as I didn't want this article to be accurate...it really hit the mark.

As a younger generation entrepreneurs grows up chances are greater for success in the business world. I think passion, effort and hard work are required to be successful entrepreneur.
