Today's story comes to us from Sheena, a mom, inventor, designer and entrepreneur based in San Antonio, Texas. Lizzie Lou Shoes have international flair, close family ties, and one-of-a-kind handmade craftsmanship built into each pair. Sheena's experience with her business brought a few financial challenges along the way, but of course not without lessons learned. Thanks for sharing your story with us, Sheena - it's important to recognize the role that risk plays in the development of a start-up.

Me and Yoni (my husband) are thrilled to see you on the Hot-Topics page! In a world of corporate greed, fraud and breach of ethics, it is great to see some good news about good people who make it! The stories are classy, well written and inspiring. They breed hope! We will watch closely for future posts!

I agree. I too love these posts. I don't give a darn about seeing big corporations set up, I like seeing real people get started and build their dreams. I was wondering if you might do some future posts on people with disabilities, something I find very special!
