There are many benefits and disadvantages to both working from home and renting an office but both can be viable choices in the right situation. Use the criteria we've listed in today's post to decide which choice best suits your business. It is wise not to rush your decision by listening to others or without doing extensive research.

Hi James,

Thanks for the timely post given the recent debate over working from home versus from the office in the national media. I'm not sure there's a best answer to the question besides looking at the pros and cons and deciding upon what is best for your business. Thanks also to Stacie for sharing this post with the BizSugar community.

Great point, Stacie. I think when you find a work-at-home situation has become untenable, that's the time to seriously consider moving your business into an office setting.

Hi Heather,

You are so kind. You make a good point. The best answer depends on the pro and cons. If my business was causing an imbalance in my home, then I would have to consider leasing a space. I love my home too much.

Many Blessings,

Stacie
