With the rise of e-readers like the Kobo and the Kindle, carrying a library in your purse or backpack has never been easier. When entrepreneur Allen Lau was developing mobile games at Tira Wireless, this wasn’t really the case.

As an aspiring ebook author, this article is very inspiring reading. I will check out Wattpad.

Do you think the different readers will have one standard in the future? Now you mainly have different standards linked to different online bookstores. I recently got a reader (Letto) from an online bookstore in Sweden (Adlibris). It is designed by Ebookeen and is opened to different formats ( ePub, PDF, Adobe® DRM, HTML, TXT and FB2).

I think having a purpose when you create a business, whether to meet the needs of others or yourself, is one reality check that there actually may be demand for your idea. If there's a community or customer base that needs your product or service, obviously you stand a greater chance of success. Thanks for sharing at BizSugar!
