Best of luck - sounds like you'll have a blast as well as being very successful. My husband is a dairy farmer and we often work together on the farm, reading your post made me think of all those farming families who are actually implementing the skills and roles you mention but without even thinking about it - if you know what I mean ;)

Well, in short, it's been difficult but fun. Blurring work and personal boundaries is difficult and affects both work and personal life! The worst effect has probably been that work's seeped into so much of personal life -- we can't seem to have a conversation without talking about work!

Yea, it's difficult to separate the two. I TRY, but it doesn't always work. My issue is I treat mine like my husband sometimes at work (meaning I'm bossy and think I'm right) and not a colleague. Working on that!
