Hi Mike,

Great motivational post here with some really practical suggestions. It's great not only to start networking but to see about working for a business startup or small tech firm. There may not be much money in it at first, but offer some services as a consultant filling some role where you find a need. This is a great way to learn how startups work, and how to take a larger more central role in a startup when the opportunity arises.
