On my last bike ride, while I was struggling to stay upright as I crossed a creek…I realized there are a lot of similarities between bike riders and entrepreneurs.

Point #4 is my favorite. I've seen too many startups keep changing directions and eventually run out of cash before they become sustainable. Do your research, pick a course and stick with it.

I absolutely agree with Calevans!

Entrepreneurs nowadays often rush into everything and, once it becomes more difficult, they decide to try something else.

My advice would be - really think hard about what you want to do, and once you make your decision, stick with it.

I like points one and four especially here even though these sort of exemplify the paradoxical quality of entrepreneurship. On one hand, you have to maintain momentum. On the other, you need to be careful how much time and effort you put into an idea until you have a working business model...or at least a glimmer of one. I'm wondering what other favorites people would pick out here.
