I recently had the pleasure of undertaking a formal independent review of Ennis Innovate, a Startup Business Accelerator programme which has been running in the West of Ireland for 3 years. The programme is aimed at assisting early stage enterprises to validate the market and create a Sales pitch for customers.

As part of the evaluation process I interviewed 6 early stage startups who participated on the programme. One of the questions that I asked them was ‘what top 3 nuggets of advice would you give to other startups’. The lessons learned have been synthesised into this article listing ten items (not in rank order of importance).
