Over the years, the image of the average entrepreneur has transformed drastically. The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor reported that the rate of female entrepreneurs starting new businesses has now surpassed that of men.

I can't say much about this because I'm not sure if its true or not but, what I do know is that women are really taking up entrepreneurship seriously these days which is very good. Gone are days when women are just seen as just house wives, they've leant something new. Thanks for sharing this with the bizsugar community.

I think it's always a great time for female entrepreneurs. I think we shouldn't discriminate women in the working world. They are as capable as men are.
