Sometimes the hardest part of starting a business is actually starting. Katia Beauchamp can attest to that – while working on her startup Birchbox she realized that if she didn’t pare down the idea, she’d never launch. “Having an idea and a vision makes it hard to let go and get the company started before you can realize that full vision,” she says.
