While tech security experts and law enforcement report that cyber-criminals are increasingly focusing on small businesses, entrepreneurs don’t agree. In October, authorities in the Ukraine arrested five people who allegedly stole $70 million from U.S. bank accounts by targeting small and midsized businesses in the U.S. But in a recent study sponsored by Visa Inc. and the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA),small business owners surveyed said most cybercrime focuses on large companies, and didn’t believe it was worth investing in online security.
