John, thanks for making me stop and think about this. I think I'm the type to always be on the look out for how to tweak and fine tune the process. I wonder if I'd have troubles recognizing when it's time to go for a complete change in process.

The importance of fine-tuning is not to be underestimated. I like the idea of treating the process as a regular car-maintenance check-up. Apply changes and amendments on necessary parts; adding a new strategy, perhaps, may accelerate the progress further -- all depending on the requirements based on periodic reviews.

John, great points! I agree. I think it's worth remembering that fine tuning the sales process is an ongoing process and should largely based on feedbacks from customers, prospects and salespeople.
