Small Business Budgets and Modern Website Costs
"No problem! That's a tough question but I couldn't see the majority - maybe 95%+ - taking more than another 20ish years. From 1994 - present we've seen exponential growth in both small business websites, blogs, and eCommerce, and we keep getting better tools for small businesses to easily create websites without having to know HTML/CSS/JavaScript. 20ish years would just be my intuition guess - how long do you think?"Small Business Budgets and Modern Website Costs
"Hey Lyceum, I referenced an article from AP (here: http://bigstory.ap.org/article/skip-website-some-small-businesses-still-do) where it cites a 2013 joint report by Google and Ipsos. Matt Cutts, head of the Google webspam team, also mentioned it in a recent post on Google+ (Here: https://plus.google.com/+MattCutts/posts/dqDiYpRMPPg) - hope that helps!"7 Ways Small Businesses Can Get Involved in Their Community
"Hey Lyceum, I wrote this post, and I meant precisely that! The physical act of taking your phone out to scan a QR code is an obstacle for any potential sign-up, contact, or simple information gatherer. The community events I've helped manage showed me that all attempts to integrate QR codes were pretty futile. People did have the time or care to engage any type of QR code marketing. When a table/booth offered something that was directly free/tangible, such as a branded t-shirt or even food, this attracted the most people. This applies to most general events, such as a community shin dig with music, movies, etc.. but if you're participating in a hackathon type of event where the demographic has a better chance of engaging QR codes, then by all means. Hope that clears things up!"Subscribe

"Hey Lyceum, I tried responding but I don't think I can include links in these comments. Anyway, I was referencing a post that AP circualted, which mentioned a joint report from 2013 between Google & Ipsos. Matt Cutts, the head of Google's webspam team, also posted about it. I'm including the URLs below but they are broken up (just join the http & :) https : //plus.google.com/+MattCutts/posts/dqDiYpRMPPg http : //bigstory.ap.org/article/skip-website-some-small-businesses-still-do"
