I agree with you that Facebook is larger in size (lot of users) but it is a big distraction of work. You go on Twitter for news updates, following latest trends, interesting articles, building relationships and more... that is all what required for SEO (that is all what I do on Twitter). Facebook is very much social people go there mostly for games, jokes, interact with friends/relatives and to spend the time quickly when they are getting bore ;) Hope it helps."
