"Dear All, As G+ death is predicted, I found 2 wonderful platforms to join in the world wide web. And I shared some of the wonderful features about it. But my BIG question is what is the fate of our resources we shared with G+ all these years? Also what will happen to the comments we received and we posted at different blog posts via G+ comment option. So far Google has not come out any option to retrieve these precious resources. "Hi Martin, @Lyceum Yes, I still remember r Orkut, Wave, Buzz...etc closing down. But in the case of Google+ I am afraid no valuable information is coming in. if they come up with a new alternative to G+ that would have been great, but sad at this moment that chance is so bleak. Google did this type of shutting down of their several platforms earlier also, like Google's Knol a platform started with much enthusiasm to compete with Wikipedia but sad, just after 2 years of its tremendous growth one fine morning they decided to close Knol and informed its users about their decision and even they provided an alternative to migrate our resources to WordPress platform. That was indeed a great blessing in disguise to me, as I was only aware of blogger platform and this incident made me learn about WP and that lead me to open my own website that is the present one. pvariel.com Of course there the subscribers are top scientists, researchers and well-known writers from different fields, that may be one of the reasons why they could not just abandon their users. For this migration, they have given its members enough time and valuable response to its members' queries but sad nothing is happening in the case of Google+ shutdown. Thanks, Martin for asking this. "Yes, Martin, it is for sure G+ is going to shut their shop soon. It's officially declared by Google, the reason for this is the serious data breach, may be that's why they didn't go for a premium business version. Thanks Have a great time of sharing ahead. ~ Phil"Subscribe
