Great post and great food for thought. Some of the advice is about what you do as an entrepreneur the rest is about outlook. I understand Martin's objection to the "ego" point however the word has come to have very different connotations than those traditionally associated with it. Overall though these are great tips for entrepreneurs.

Ben Lang: Good tips by Ralph Jean-Paul, but I don't agree with his advice on "lose your ego." It could be the misuse of the word ego (I in Latin) that is in the way for the author. I agree with his statement:

"There is a difference between having confidence and having a big ego."

But I would replace the word ego with something else. If you are interested in checking your premises, I recommend you to read Ayn Rand's novelette, Anthem. The word ego has a central role in the story.
