If you’re spending the majority of your time marketing one-to-one you may be missing out on a lot of business.

A more effective marketing approach is one-to-many. This is you communicating with many people at the same time. It’s all about leverage.

Here are three one-to-many marketing ideas using three different marketing strategies: speaking, writing, and on-line networking.

Hi Stephanie,

As a writer and marketer, I couldn't agree more with these three simple tips. Yet I find them not as simple because of time commitments and pressures...everything else is more important, eh?

However, you are 120% correct in what you say - that you are reaching more people than not doing them. So it's a mindset thing with some business owners. If they are reminded that they are targeting more people by using the same article in their ezine and article sites, then it makes more sense to use the same content on multiple channels.

I'm definitely doing more of the first tip which is great but I need to do more of the other 2. Even one more as Meatloaf once said '2 out of 3 ain't bad'.

More actions on the to-do list. Thanks Stephanie!

Take care,

Denise

As someone who really struggles to network face to face with people I have found my writing blogs and Social Media to be god-sends in connecting with others. And your post has pointed out how I'm networking to far more now than I would be in a networking meeting even. Thanks for proving my point and thanks for sharing on Bizsugar.com

Hi Stephanie,

Interesting ways to take your content to the next level! I think a lot of online business people tend to limit their efforts to re-purposing content for other sites. Thanks for pointing out that there can be so much more!

Thank you for your comment Heather. Small business owners are so busy it's imperative that they leverage their content and time.
