I really think marketers are among the best people to be thinking about founding or leading start ups. After all, who has a better ability to tell the stories that make customers, investors, and partners buy in to a product or service no one's ever heard of before? I also think marketers have many of the inherent qualities, like effective communication and curiosity, necessary to create the next big thing. So marketers, let's get started!
