Martin,

The cost ranges from $45 to $70 depending on the distance you live from Ben Gurion Airport. Considering the average check-in wait time is an hour and it can take another two hours to get through security, I think the price is well worth it. And considering the number of people who are using the service, it's a hit! I think one of the things that makes it work is the fact that Israel is such a tiny country. It would be much harder to impliment in a lrger country. Thanks for responding,

As far as I know, EL AL is the only company in the world to offer this service. It's a great marketing tool and of mutual benefit to the airline and its customers.
