And you will not forget I bet. I am starting to hear about these mandatory donations which really does not sound like a good idea especially as you pointed out there was no information. Thanks for sharing the story.

My Avira anti-virus program expired yesterday. I've been very pleased with it so was quick to go to their site to renew. At $17.95 I couldn't go wrong.
Entered my credit card info, got ready to check out...and...there's a $7.95 charge for "The Auerbach Foundation," a donation. Well, being that they had no info on the foundation, I didn't want to donate. I attempted to remove the charge from my basket. You can't it says...it's a "mandatory" donation.
They missed out on a simple thing...getting a valuable client to renew. I will not!
