It hasn't been too early for any number of bloggers and analysts to proclaim 2009 the “year of social networks.” With more than 60 million Facebook accounts already tagged and more than 30 million business network entries on LinkedIn, it's hard to argue the momentum. But as 2008 draws to a close it might be more accurate to see 2009 not just as the year of social networks but as the year BtoB marketers finally use them effectively.
