It is a known fact that search engines localize the organic search results especially in case of local variants like Google.com vs Google.ro in out case. I was working under the assumption that the localization process is limited to Geolocation and treats unlogged users as anonymous for search engine results customization purposes. I use routinely goScout.com to compare search engine results untouched, live in real time. GoScout service loads each site in a frame so results are accurate and not tampered with in any way.
Recently we discovered that different computers on the same LAN using the same internet gateway on a fixed IP produced significantly different results for the same query using the same browser and operating system.
