I'm also confused as heck especially with #5 -Make ‘Easy To Forget’ Info.

I'm not very tech savvy and I just don't understand what link-baiting is for.

Link baiting is for the sake of attracting people to link to you voluntarily by either giving valuable content or by making a list of things like for example "a list of 101 dofollow blogs" which the readers will find useful for their own link building . But since it is beyond human capacity to remember the list they will bookmark it for further reference . And that is how you will get immediate backlinks from bookmarks and this will aid your link building process. That is why the "make easy to forget info" checkout the Pagerank table i have mentioned in # 5 . That is useful for linkbuilding but the chart cant be memorized so people start bookmarking it and mentioning it in their posts for their readers and this is how the post gets more backlinks :)
