According to a recent study by Custora, a customer acquisition platform for e-commerce, customers that come from organic search have a 54% higher Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) than the average.

Thanks for checking it out Heather. I think it's a good example that not all visitor traffic is created equal. I think information like this will help businesses make better decisions about where to spend their resources.

You also have to remember that this study was for businesses running ecommerce solutions, I think social media works less for products and more for services, where people and relationships play a bigger role in the sales process.
