They say the best things in life are free.

But if you think about it, there are only a few things in life that are truly free – meaning without any cost whatsoever.

Regardless of that, when I started officially blogging last year June, I was told by many people that you need to grow a subscriber list, and the best way to do that is to offer stuff on your site for free that’ll draw them in and persuade them to give you their email address.

The old offer them something to get their email address trick, huh?

I mean EVERYBODY was telling me this.

And I was really confused because I was hesitant about giving away some really good stuff for free ... but eventually learned that it wasn't totally for FREE.

Regardless, giving away information was and still is the “IN” thing.
