Ben: Could a good average duration be different on different kind of pages of a website? How much are you allowed to track today, according the rules, e.g., GDPR?

Yea the session duration will change greatly from page to page. The benchmark shared in the article is sitewide, so it's an average from all pages. It's definitely a good idea to look at the view duration for individual pages and for each of your site's referrers.

There aren't any concerns in regard to GDPR since this data is fully anonymous and impersonal.
