THE LESSON? - Building a strong brand matters. Content creators who have built a loyal following are best positioned to convert their followers over to a low-priced subscription. Why not? We buy songs for $1, rent movies for a fee. Plus, this is like buying unbundled cable content, something consumers have wanted for some time.
