1) Engage in an overabundance of either “me” centered comments and/or self promo. Instead, show a genuine interest in the other person. Get them talking about their favorite subject. Hint: It aint you and your company.

Great advice for how not to do it. It's painful too, because we've all done at least one or more of these things from time to time though maybe not to the extremes described. I think there are counterparts to most of these behaviors in online social networking too if you take the time to think about it. I also love the photo! :)

Alas #10 - I too have an unsmiling mug. It's the way my face relaxes. To unsmiling I might as well add "hideous"!
