David, as long as I've got my family and dog by my side I'm RICH! As for money...I gave up the prospect of making a lot of it for the freedom of being a freelancer. I'll let you know the first month that I have something left after paying the bills!

I agree completely. What I like about being on my own is the flexibility...which is very important with a couple young kids.

So how does one reconcile the two - spending more time chasing money leaves less time to chase happiness, even though we deep down believe that somehow making more money will better enable us to pursue happiness.
