Getting up early is a trait that many successful people share. From famous people in history like Benjamin Franklin to CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, Olympic athletes and artists to entertainers, singers and entrepreneurs like Jack Dorsey (founder of Twitter) and Richard Branson, waking up early in the morning allows them to get a head-start. The big question is: how do they do it?

Kosio: I am fan of pure black, green, Oolong, and white teas. I look forward to hear what you thought about the app.

Kosio: Do you have a favorite tea? I have thought about the phone issue too. I recommend you to check out Power Nap app. This one you could have in your pocket.

Thanks for the app suggestion, I'll check it out for sure.

I used to be a night owl, working all night and sleeping late. I just started waking up early and so far I love it, I get so much done in the morning!

How did you go about to change from a night owl to an early bird?

Kosio: I will test to drink a glass of water in the morning. I am a tea enthusiast, so I drink tea in the morning. Have you tested any of the sleep cycle / power nap apps?

I am a tea person too, but I have my water immediately upon waking up (while waiting for the tea water to boil).

I used the Sleep Cycle app for some time, but I gave it up because I don't want to sleep with my phone so close to me. The idea behind the app is awesome, but not great enough to make me sleep with my phone under my pillow :)

Kosio: I need to do that. Take today as an example. I went to bed at 1 AM and woke up at 7 AM. Fell asleep again and woke up 1 hour later. I am now getting charged physically by a special lamp with light therapy and mentally by reading your comment! :)

That's quite a schedule :)

I would start with avoiding snoozing at all costs. Even if you snooze for 5 minutes, you usually wake up feeling tired and groggy and your entire day is messed up from there.

Add to that a big glass of water immediately upon waking up and keep on adding the rest of the elements of a good morning routine mentioned in the video till you have the perfect routine for yourself.

Let me know if you have any Qs :)

I think this article touches on an important point, that being that if you don't make time to give yourself time to be productive, then you are not going to be able to get what you need to get done. Whether it is at night or in the early morning, make sure that you are doing what you need to do.

You put it very nicely, that's exactly what the idea of this post and training is! Thanks for reading and for taking the time to leave a comment!

How about the night owls, working in the middle of the night? ;)

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I used a lot of the same ideas from this article. I'm a student so I pretty much dictate my schedule so I made myself get up at a set time by setting the most ANNOYING alarm I could find. I also stopped letting myself take naps so now I'm tired around 11pm instead of just getting started.

Such people exist? ;)

The idea is to take some time for yourself in the morning (whenever that is) and get charged both physically and mentally.
