Over this past holiday season I received invitations to feasts and dinners that left me tugging at my waistline trying to grab that belt to move it up a notch. I was trying relieve my poor belly from all that pressure and afterwards all I wanted to do was take a nap. My energy level tanked and asking me to do anything that didn’t include lifting more than the weight of the remote control and it was nearly impossible. Now, I’m not saying that I hit the gym 7 days a week, are you kidding… who can make that kind of commitment? With all I do with running 2 businesses, launching a 3rd, being a single parent who has to stay on top of my daughter to get her homework, archery practice and school functions inline plus find time to write I am usually running around like a chicken without a head. Yet, I usually have the energy to manage my day except during holidays…. It is at that point that all I want in my day is a nap…
