Human knowledge is finite

i.e. you don’t know everything about anything; and you know practically nothing about almost everything.(Read that again, and you’ll see that it does make sense!)

It is important to distinguish things that look similar but are not the same.

For example, it is important to distinguish
1) A pussy cat from a tiger
2) A friend from an enemy
3) An opportunity from a threat

In a similar vein:
Here is a list of important pairs that look similar but are not the same
1. Fact v opinion
2. Reason v excuse
3. Wish v goal
4. Guess v estimate
5. Determined v stubborn

We should not get these pairs confused.
Let us examine how each one should be used.
