I'm trying to find one that fits. I'll probably stick with this one for a while...it represents who I am, a lo-tech guy who longs for the good-old-days!

Maybe there is hope for humans if we bother to look to animals. I like your mentioning why animals kill versus why humans kill.

Have you seen the squirrel videos - they're unbelievably clever.

Squirrels. Elephants. Lions. Tigers. Chimps. Cute animal videos are one of the few reddeming qualities of the internet.
Michael Douglas said in Wall Street: "If you want a friend, get a dog." Already have two of those.
I say: "Want to learn about human behavior? Watch animals."
Best lesson I've learned thus far: All other species kill for survival. Food. Defense of territory. We humans are the only ones who do it for sport, for fun, for vengeancë, to be "made men" in the mob, to earn gang colors, or just because somebody looked at us the wrong way.

Sure there are those great people who pitch in, but others slyly ask what's in it for them or have ulterior motives like sabotage.
Or...I'm just paranoid...
