Do you eat at your desk when you work from home? After all, the kitchen is just around the corner, and it’s so simple to whip up something to eat and settle right back into work, right?

Holly and Heather: I am very interested in learning to practice yoga breathe techniques. A friend of mine, Therése Ek, will introduce me to the world of the yoga in the near future.

My type of break is taking a walk during the day, listening to podcasts.

Holly, believe me, I'm desperate to take a nice big break and do some yoga or exercise in the middle of the day...but what usually happens is I don't get it in until too late...then I have this huge surge of energy at night and I'm up all night. I don't know how people do it in the mornings either, with the rush to get kids out the door, deadlines, etc.

Do you yourself actually do this yoga? I'm interested in knowing how long it took to become a healthy work habit. It took me about 3 months of going to the gym, 3 times a week, to get used to it and to get that energy boost...but sheesh! I'd work out for about 2 hours, from like 4-6, and then be up like all night! I would like to hear more about health and productivity improving habits for the work at home small biz person. Thanks for this post, and look forward to any further insights.
