Ileane: Thanks for the help! Have you covered this topic (how to use Google+ Hangout) in a blog post? Do you think that hangouts will become an alternative to Twitter chats in the future?

Thanks for the explanation! How do you record the hangout? Is it archived for a long time? How do you search for hangouts?

The technology to record a Hangout on Air is built in to Google+ and it goes directly to your YouTube channel. The video will stay on YouTube just like any other YouTube video. You can search for Hangouts by using the menu on the left hand side of the Google+ interface. Or you can use the YouTube search and look for #HOA or #hangoutsonair. That doesn't always work but it's a good place to start.
