Great find!

Agree with all points mentioned in this post,

Favourites being "share what others won't" and I think this one can play a large role in becoming a content providers for other accounts. Anyone can go the major magazine in your field and grab those articles. But if you really want a following that is regularly sharing and relying on you, you need to find some rare article by less popular writers. Find some articles that they wouldn't find on their own. I'd recommend going to some forums in your field of interest Ex. Growthhackers.com is an excellent one for startups or Bizsugar.com even. People share tons of unique articles on these and you can find lots of new reliable sources. Plus its a free survey for you seeing what people like and don't. Would prefer these over to google alerts as its faster to find excellent content (which is the only thing one should be sharing).

Go more into detail in an article I wrote "How I Suddenly Increased My Link Clicks by 700%" other practices I applied into my strategy and what had the greatest impact. If you're interested.(http://ow.ly/zEPuG).

One last thing I'll mention which is the most important part of social media. Reply and mention, don't just RT and Fav. The point of twitter is to develop relationships, not followers. Better to have 100 followers 80% of which are engaging than 1000 one thousand followers 5% of which are engaging.
