PeerIndex, social capital and transparency.

Well it looks like Klout has well and truly upset a few people, but what alternatives are there? Have you checked out PeerIndex? Maybe they're not as high profile as Klout and you won't get hair gel or discounted sandwiches but they might be the answer to social capital with transparency?

Hi Peter,

The one complaint I have with PeerIndex is the same with Klout and that is they give you a profile whether you want it or not. I think all of these should be up to each person to opt in. If you don't then you should not be given a profile. What are your thoughts on this?

I signed up for my PeerIndex profile (I think?) ages ago, I don't think you get a profile otherwise, it may have changed. Have you checked out Kred or PROskore yet?
