Hi Jackie,

I agree with you that businesses should consider the impact. That said it seems many of the changes are tests only and if small businesses in particular jumped at every opportunity they can waste a lot of time with little long term success.

Hey Susan

Thanks for your comments. Whether klout and influence will play as big of a role as suggested remains to be tested. But given the tribal nature of our social culture, this does seem like the next plausible move to deliver the content that people want to see. The problem with the wait and see method in this particular instance, is that reputation and influence takes time to build, and I think it will be harder for the up and comming to break through.

Intriguing article & video, Jackie!

Even if comments on FB personal pages carry little (or no) weight w/google, it's still a way for people to engage & get to know you.

Thanks Duncan, "Little Debbie Snack Cakes" certainly got her 15 minutes of fame.

I suppose your right, re the facebook comments. My first thought was, if no benefit then why not use normal wordpress comments? But as I think about it some more, it does carry some degree of increase to your profile. Time will tell I suppose.
