While this post is about our product go-live, it is not a promotional post! There are some lessons for all in it with regards to validating your offering through "live" testing. We did a lengthy beta test during which we tested business processes as well as the product, we made the move to production. We learnt a few things along the way that will be really useful once we are commercially active. Hopefully you will learn something as well.

Barney,

Best of luck with the launch of your product! Keep us up-to-date with how things progress. Though I am not there, I raise a "virtual" pint of Guinness to toast you and your company. Cheers!

Guys,

I think a "quiet go-live" is highly underrated especially since everyone always seems t want to make those huge announcements. I think the great thing here is going through the check list to see what's been learned along the way. This is a great post for anybody working a startup who wants to get a feel of the slow roll out. Thanks for providing it. Wonder if they'll be more detail at some point in the future to give everyone insight into how this kind of process works.
