Hi Lyceum, thanks for the comment and tip. I would limit myself to half a day of pre-business plan research. If its all a green light, move forward to the next step. The main bulk of research should be done when building the business plan. The pre-business plan research is intended to be time saving and quick to determine if more time should be spent working on the idea. For many pre-Entrepreneurs, I notice they are always in a state of finding feasible business ideas so this would give them a quick tip to sift through their eureka moments.

I like the step-by-step approach and series of posts in order to guide you through the start-up process. I wonder how much you should research before you start? Couldn't you become a bit "paralyzed" by the research?
