You know, I voted for this because it's well written and informative, but the question I asked myself was not "is this a scam?" but "why would I hire someone willing to sell their talents for $5?"...and further, why would anyone do it? The entire concept is confusing for me on both ends, lol.

As a seller on Fiverr, I can tell you why I began selling my services for less than market value. Fiverr quickly became flooded with potential clients.

Prior to Fiverr, I was spending hundreds of dollars marketing my affordable logo design service. Granted, I don't make nearly the money per logo design as I once did, but the volume of orders I get per day is incredible.

The biggest problem with Fiverr is it can be difficult for a buyer to filter through the low quality sellers and ridiculous gigs. Thus, some people have had a poor first experience.
