I would add two more tips to keep the passion going. 1) Periodically take time off from work and spend it with family and friends on vacation. It's amazing how stepping away from work for some time can rejuvenate you and keep the passion going. 2) Do not try to do everything yourself. Learn to delegate. Failure to do this is a sure recipe for burnout and loss of passion.
