Babanature, you still don't get it do you. The Google code on the Google blog says quite clearly that it exists to assist edge cases where the expected behaviour is a bounce (user arrives at website, finds a phone number, calls the company, and leaves the site having fulfilled their contact with the company offline and leaves the site). You're twisting the blog's words and saying that Google advocate it for general use, that's totally untrue. We've all read the blog and I'm sure you have too, the difference is we understand it you simply don't seem to.

This code is not offered by Google as a way to artificially reduce your bounce rate (go get a statement from Matt Cutts that says it is and we'll probably believe your story, good luck with that...), your constant attack to everyone who is giving you good advice here that artificially reducing your bounce rate is only kidding yourself and of no value to a marketing or SEO campaign simple shows you know very little about currenrt analytics strategies at all.

LOL from that very link you posted is the following verbatim from the page:

if you have a description of the product right on the landing page, and your phone number on the same page. The visitor might study the description and call straight away - again, they will be recorded as a bounced visitor, as only 1 page was viewed

Most blogs are not going to get this kind of user interaction.

I think you should read the links you post yourself...

I seriously don't know where you read yours but here is where i read mine http://analytics.blogspot.nl/2012/07/tracking-adjusted-bounce-rate-in-google.html After this, i don't need arguing with you...

the code is for edge cases where you may have product pages with a phone number, and the expected behaviour is a user hits the page then calls the company. In these cases the code is useful, however using it for a blog is futile, and only fools yourself into thinking your blog is relevant to your audience when it may well not be.

Don't use it to simply reduce the bounce rate of your blog, concentrate instead in adding a "relevant post" plugin to your blog instead that serves up related content. This WILL reduce your bounce rate as people will genuinely spend time on your blog because it's interesting.

There's a reason that bounce is measured, making it artificially go away makes not sense at all.

Bounce issue? Bounce rate?

New words to me but I still appreciate everything especially the effort to tell everyone about this.

I was thinking the same thing Cecil commented on. I've seen this code before, but didn't pay much attention to it. It looks like the code fools the search engine into thinking that your bounce rate is very low.

Thanks for the info, though.

I can understand you, that was how i felt when i saw the code. But after reading about the code on Google analytic blog, I implemented it on my blog.

The code is from Google itself and it is not a sin to use it. But you can still make your own research and see what you find :).

Programmers always wanted to trick search engine. Applying this could cause your website some trouble.

I wonder why Google would create a code that would deceive their own machine...

When you see a blogger dropped a post, it is good to make your own research. I dropped a link to Google Analytic where they talked about that same code.

Please make sure you do research before commenting such comments. If you don't know don't talk bro

I see the code would lower the bounce rate...but it doesn't seem it would solve the actual problem with your traffic bouncing from the site. If people are leaving your site and not staying, the code showing you reductions may not be helpful.
