Martin,

Here's what I think:

Offer value: If I run a blog, I need to post stellar posts. If I sell coffee, I need to brew the best coffee I can.

Biz dev: If I run a blog, not only publishing posts on my own blog, I need to reach out to guest contribute on other blogs. I also need to be on social media to engage my followers.
