As of course,without taking any risks, our plans will be nothing. Though its hard to take risk and its difficult to manage. It is part of the game play if we really wanted to advance.

Thanks for the post, one of a number on business planning that seem to be finding their way into the BizSugar community lately. It's an important and often under discussed subject that entrepreneurs need to understand a lot better. Business plans have often been explained in such a formulaic fashion in the past, that I think most small business leaders have drawn the conclusion that they're just another hurtle to get through rather than an incredibly important and valuable tool.

Well said. I was reluctant to create even a page of business plan, because my mindset for a business plan was: A proposal for financing - LOL.

Today, I consider my business plan as a diary. Heck, I even consider my business plan as my personal blog that can only be viewed by me. Along the course of time, we can have a lookie at it and we often be amazed how far we have achieved (or failed, depending on what's in your plan.)
