Jan Koum was born in Kiev in the Ukraine, in 1976. And while it is now an important industrial, scientific, educational, and cultural centre, it wasn’t always that way. His home didn’t have running water, and the village he grew up in didn’t even have an inside bathroom…
So how did he end up as the co-founder of the second most used app in the world: WhatsApp?
