One thing I admire is a person willing to express their opinion and stand behind their product. The 1st place price for this type of behavior must go to Citrix's CTO Simon Crosby who gives no quarter to those who try to position him and/or his products in any way other than how Simon sees it. That being said, this time Simon has responded to a VMware post claiming ESX Server performs better than Citrix's XenServer running Citrix XenApp workloads. In Simon's response he not only responds to VMware's claim by calling it nothing more than "bad science" but he also takes the opportunity to call on VMware's CTO Stephen Herrrod to an open challenge:
