Branding: An Important Marketing Tool!
"When it comes to branding I find that you won't know it is good or bad branding until you have feedback from the consumers. A business may think their branding is representing their company properly but then have a completely negative response from the consumers. There are definite smart steps, recommended tips and tricks to include in your branding methods. There is also definite don'ts as well. I think if you have a good knowledge of the right things to include then you will be heading in the right direction but it is always good to be creative and to not go the safe road. Overall branding is a representation of the business, if the business is a terrible business the branding won't really help. Everything coincides, but I find that there is no wrong road when it comes to branding or even marketing. Usually if you try something new there is a risk. But greatness is achieved by those who take risks. Hopefully that gave you insight into my opinion of things. I am not sure if they are making it more public, I think technology is advancing and with the brilliant but devious minds that can be found in the world they are using it to hack into companies. I think because of the advanced technology it is easier to hack now then say ten years ago. Sad but a fact. Just got to be careful. "Hi lyceum, I commented on this a couple hours after you did. But I noticed it hadn't been posted. The biggest example of technology implementation is retail stores. A lot of small clothing stores and brands have begun to use Face Book as a platform of communication. They have had apps developed for an easy use, buy anywhere any time service. Stores who haven't already done so are creating websites as well. One big named brand is Forever 21 who came out with an app, you can easily buy their clothes through the app. One of the local boutiques in my home town is constantly updating the Face Book page with coupons and deals. Another example is restaurants and bars, a few in my hometown have started to use Face Book as a communication tool with their customers. Down Under Bar specifically posts photos each night, this brings customers to the page as they want to see the photos they are in. It also entices people to attend the bar because they are intrigued by the photos. Theses are just a few examples but I hope they helped. "Why is technology the future for small businesses?
"Hi, thanks for commenting. There are many companies who have embraced the use of technology. A few of the big named companies are Target, Kmart and Forever 21 etc. These are only a few of the clothing stores that have had an App developed for their store. This is beneficial to them as any of their customers can shop from anywhere and at any time. Social media marketing is used by a lot of companies, but you find that mostly small businesses that take advantage of this efficient marketing tool; generally because it is a lot cheaper. Gold line fashion is an example of a UK store that created a Facebook page to reach out to further customers. I know that there are quite a few restaurants, bars and clubs that use Facebook to advertise new parties, events, and post photos which in turn entice further customers. Down Under Bar, a bar in Brisbane City, is one example that really takes advantage of Facebook. They are constantly posting pictures, advertising events and putting up coupon offers for their members on Facebook. Really involving people. But these are only few examples of uses and companies who took advantage of technology. You can find out further businesses who did so by asking local companies and businesses.
