"If that blog had comments enabled I would offer that SpinLessPlates has an interesting CRM for small businesses but it doesn't handle email and I just found Nimble which is the closest CRM to what I've been searching for these past many years. Nimble integrates the major social networks and email into one platform. It is fairly new and it doesn't do everything we need, but since the CEO created GoldMine I expect they will keep adding features until it does. Definitely worth a look.
